At 50th Boot Duesseldorf, VETUS showed cream of its boating technology

DUESSELDORF _ The 2019 Boot Duesseldorf marked the 50th birthday of what has become the world’s largest boot show. VETUS used it to display the cream of its boating technology.

Like the Duesseldorf show, VETUS has over the past 50 years become a major industry factor. It has developed, made and marketed marine engines, generators and technical equipment for recreational craft and small commercial vessels. Today, the VETUS product manual comprises some 4,000 technical products.

VETUS’ Bow Pro boosted thrusters took center stage of the company’s display of new equipment. Also on display were VETUS’ F-Line engines, V-Docker joystick docking system, new V-Quipment Frontier RIB, plus the CWS and FTR33038M water strainers.

Following the success of its BOW PRO thrusters for 20-to- 55ft boats, VETUS has developed the BOW PRO Boosted thrusters as the next evolution of the range. Suitable for boats up to 80ft, the upgraded BOW PRO Boosted brushless models deliver all the features of the BOW PRO series with an added boost function to make life easier for even more boat owners.
Berthing is made easier with the new VETUS V-Docker joystick docking system. It provides targeted power for precise operation to simplify even the most complicated docking situations.

VETUS’ next generation F-LINE 4-cylinder, common-rail engines with variable geometry turbochargers are ideal for new builds or as replacement engines for RIBs, small tenders and light-weight motor boats.

Further product innovations included the FTR33038M water strainer – a durable model for below-waterline installations, the new nickel-plated CWS cooling water strainer series and the V-Quipment Frontier RIB series, measuring from 2.4m to 3.3m in length.
