SCHIEDAM, April 2017 ~ Vetus has introduced the next version of its D-Line engine range. The company says its lower revolutions work well with more power and torque while maintaining reliability and durability. The new D-line engines meet the new RCD2013/53/EU emissions regulations.
Vetus says latest D-Line engines are extremely suitable for power hydraulics on board. They come with a CAN bus system with a SAEJ1939 protocol and work well with NMEA2000 systems on board.
The new VETUS D-Line engines feature an innovative water cooled top cover to reduce engine room heat and reduce the engine noise of an already near-silent engine block. The top cover is sturdy enough to be used as a step.
Other new features: a smaller air filter to save engine room space; new exhaust manifold insulation; water heater connections; an electric sump pump and a high output alternator (160 Amps) as standard.
As options Vetus offers a 2ndalternator, a PTO flange for a hydraulic pump; a fly-bridge instrument panel and a trolling valve. An option exclusively for 6-cylinder models is a separate fuel filter kit.
