COVID-19 pushes watersports trade show back to December

GORINCHEM – The Watersports Trade Fair, a new name on the Netherlands’ marine events calendar, has been moved back to December 6-8 on account of the COVID-19 pandemic. The indoor event had been scheduled for early March.

“We very much looked forward to the event at the beginning of March. Unfortunately, we are overtaken by reality,” the show organizers said in a letter to exhibitors.

“Given the current spread of the coronavirus and the measures taken by the government, we felt we had to make a timely decision,” wrote Harrold van Asselt and Dennis de Bruijn.

The event had attracted a significant number of participants, including Exalto, DG Rubber, Kuiper Insurance, Raymarine, On Deck, Dynamic Marine Systems, HISWA, Technautic, WhisperPower, Rosch Marine, More Marine, Vetus, Inshore Creative, Combi Noord, ARC Marine, ASA Boot Electro, YEC Yachtpaints and Epifanes.
