Fine threads amplify the Feadship message

HAARLEM – Dutch custom superyacht builder Feadship has launched a line of yacht wear to share and amplify the ‘Feadship message’ of high-end quality, lifestyle, and sustainability beyond the confines of yacht building.

For its online Ocean Collection, Feadship asked Amsterdam-based interior designer Tanja Gobitz to target suitable suppliers to ensure the premium standards of quality, sustainability and certification are guaranteed in Feadship-labeled clothes.

Feadship, says the company’s PR & Communications Manager, Francis Vermeer, wants to be “100% certain no child labor is involved in the manufacturing process.”

The ‘Ocean Collection’ will reveal “subtle hints of branding.”

“Merchandise plays an important role in how we share the Feadship message. We are committed to investing our marketing budget in lifestyle items that are genuinely sustainable and have a high value to users,” says Vermeer. In December, the Ocean Collection roll-out will reach customers in EU nations. Global distribution will follow soon after that.
