AMSTERDAM – Sichterman Yachts, a greenhorn yard making high-end motor yachts that can serve as fun boats or superyacht tenders, has launched 2 new models. The 15m Libertas (49ft.) and 20m Felicitatem (66ft.) are aluminum newcomers that bookend the yard’s 18m Inveni (59ft.) that was launched in May, 2019.
Like the 18m Inveni, the 2 newcomers are the fruit of collaboration between designer Cor D. Rover, Van Oossanen Naval Architects and Workumer Yachtservice, a northern Dutch builder.
Surprisingly, the Libertas and Felicitatem were built in only 7 and 9 months, respectively.
The 15m Libertas is a versatile dayboat or a swank superyacht tender. Thanks to Van Oossanen Naval Architects’ patented Fast Displacement Hull, it can do 40 knots with only 2x Volvo Penta IPS 950 and Seakeeper technology.
The Libertas offers both speed and great comfort for a maximum of 14 persons. Its
‘Fantastic Eclectic’ interior, one of 3 styles on offer, says the yard, “is an exciting fusion of glamour and beauty, artistically decorated to create an exclusive experience.”
The 20m Felicitatem oozes comfort, luxury and pleasure.
Van Oossanen’s Fast Displacement Hull Form and Hull Vane, render a fuel saving of up to 20%. The boat’s ‘Sporty Elegance’ style in the interior is a nod to the world of classy sports cars.
The Felicitatem has a flybridge with steering, 3 sundecks, a Sonos entertainment system and an air-conditioned lounge with floor heating. Up to 6 guests can overnight in 2 master bedrooms and a twin bed cabin. There is also a separate captain’s cabin.
