VOLLENHOVEN – Rondal, the Dutch maker, designer, and marketer of custom-made composite products for large, very high-end sailing and motor yachts, has named Harald Lubbinge as its new managing director.
Lubbinge joins Rondal from IMS, a Dutch specialist in developing and building production lines for small, innovative products. He succeeds Matthijs Jonker and says he feels “honored to lead Rondal and contribute to the growth and development of a truly extraordinary company.”
Rondal was founded by Royal Huisman and is known for its quality and expertise in the production of exceptionally tall masts, integrated sailing systems, carbon composite structures, windbreaks, hatches and entrances.
Rondal said in a statement “the creation of successful products demands a successful and visionary team.” It called Lubbinge’s appointment “an important strengthening” of the company. “Harald’s leadership will undoubtedly prove to be another decisive step towards achieving our goal of becoming the marine industry’s leading composite manufacturer in the years to come,” the company added.
