In the coronavirus era, VETUS is never far away

SCHIEDAM – Spring is coming to the northern hemisphere. That means boating enthusiasts are wiping the cobwebs off their boats, planning trips and looking for VETUS shops.

Despite the serious worldwide situation, “all our staff are safe and operational,” says the Dutch developer and maker of marine engines, generators and technical equipment for recreational craft and small commercial vessels. VETUS creates boat systems, has subsidiaries in 16 countries and a worldwide distribution and service network.

In line with Dutch government anti-coronavirus rules, VETUS  has organized teleworking for all possible departments and international offices. For its production and shipping operations it has taken “all necessary measures to guarantee the safety of our staff.”

“Whilst working safely and professionally,” Vetus said in a statement, “as always, our services continue. And we will try to limit any inconvenience for you as much as possible together with our dealer organization.”

It shared this tip: “There are several well equipped VETUS webshops that can serve you, even in these difficult times, in case you can go to your boat, or just when you want to be ready when you can go to your boat again!”
