Linssen Yachts renews exclusivity deal for Raymarine gear

MAASBRACHT – Linssen Yachts, the Dutch builder of steel motor cruisers of 9-15m (29.5- 49ft), has renewed its exclusivity deal for Raymarine electronics on its yachts for another five years. The agreement, signed at Raymarine UK’s headquarters in Fareham, near Portsmouth on England’s southern coast, reinforces Linssen’s long-standing partnership with Raymarine.

At Fareham, a Linssen Yachts delegation also discussed product experiences and innovations. “We are convinced that Raymarine offers the best solution for navigating European waters,” Paul Beelen, Linssen Yachts’ head of marketing, tells IBI News.

“Our relationship with Raymarine dates back to 2004 when we installed our Logicam serial production line. We have now extended that partnership for another five years.”

Ed Houben of Linssen Yachts said of Raymarine, “No fewer than 30 engineers test every new development in many ways for factors such as waterproofness, temperature changes, salt load, EMC radiation, UV radiation, shock and vibration resistance and more.”

Linssen Yachts’ partnership deal covers the full range of Raymarine navigation products, from chart plotters to assisted docking gear. The Dutch builder manufactures 80 or so highly customized motor yachts a year.
