MarQuip opens new engineering plant

ALBLASSERDAM – Superyacht exhaust system maker MarQuip has opened a new facility in this town on the outskirts of Rotterdam. The company’s specialist knowhow means it can make systems meeting the IMO’s latest norms for nitrogen-oxide emissions along the east and west coasts of the USA and Canada.

“Those waters are popular destinations for superyachts,” says MarQuip Sales Manager Dennis Bravenboer.

Its new facility is dedicated to the design and engineering of first-class underwater and water-cooled superyacht exhaust systems.

“MarQuip will continue to work closely with our manufacturing partners to create the hardware we devise for our clients,” says Bravenboer. “Our new facility means we can respond quickly and make our overall service even better,” adds Bravenboer. “MarQuip can now take on more and bigger projects.”

MarQuip can design and make so-called IMO TIER III-certified exhaust systems and other projects.
