METSTRADE 2020 stays the course

AMSTERDAM – The marine industry is facing difficult times as the coronavirus spreads fast and far, with grave implications for everyone. But organizers of the mid-November 2020 METSTRADE show remain confident the show will go on.

Exhibition Manager Sarah  Westdijk says that “the entire METSTRADE Team is working from home but remains focused on the exhibition in November. Times are difficult right now but currently there are no reasons to postpone the show. We are still very much looking forward to the show.”

Harold Mol, the event’s senior sales consultant, sees exhibitors staying positive. At this moment over 75% of the show is already booked.”

Organizers say, as they work on the show, they will take a cue from the safety guidelines of Dutch national health authorities. The 2020 event is scheduled for Nov. 17-19 in Amsterdam’s RAI events complex.
