New glazing systems from Vetus

SCHIEDAM – Vetus, the Dutch developer and marketer of marine engines, generators and technical equipment for recreational craft and small commercial vessels has launched a line of new glazing systems. The new products are available from stock, the latest additions to a portfolio of almost 4,000 technical products mostly or partly designed by the VETUS engineering team.

The new glazing systems are:

PL Portlight Series

— The PL Portlight series: Shallow never sounded this positive. The port is so flush it resembles fritted glass and is also suitable to be fitted in fritted glass. Its very shallow aluminum edge combined with the clamping mechanism ensures a very low profile portlight even when fitted in glass itself.

— PPL2 knobs: We pay attention to the tiniest details. Ergonomically refined, restyled and durable as ever, these new knobs know how to turn. The tapered design gives it a modern flair, while the more pronounced indents allow your fingers to grip it better. This really improves the way you close a window!

FGHF ventilation hatches

— FGHF series ventilation hatches: The meticulously engineered construction of these hatches ensures a flush fitting into the deck, resulting in a silky-smooth transition between hatch and deck. The 12 mm thick ‘dark smoke’ acrylic gives that ‘VIP privacy-glass’ vibe, while the polished and anodized aluminum frame completes the classy and time-less design on the inside

— HMB 2.0 series: The roller blind and fly screen combination designed specifically for escape- and ventilation deck hatches, has received an update.

HMB 2.0 series

The thrusted, sleek design to maximize vision, now has with altered hooks for durability, a stronger and easy to reach adjustable spring to manually reset the tension of the screen and a redesign of the guiding system to ensure smooth use.
