URK – Royal Huisman Shipyard has commissioned Piet Brouwer Electrotechnology to design, deliver and install the complete electrotechnical system on its Project 405, a 46m racing sailing yacht that has a 2022 delivery date.
The work reflects Piet Brouwer’s growing involvement with the legacy superyacht builder. It also installed the electrotechnical system on Royal Huisman’s Project 404, a 60m aluminum high-performance sailing yacht with a 2022 completion date.
The project that marked the start of Piet Brouwer’s long-term cooperation with Royal Huisman is Project 403, also known as Project Phi. Piet Brouwer is designing and installing the complete electrotechnical system for that 55m+ motor yacht.
The company says it is “delighted to be working with a premium yard.”
“These assignments are a fine addition to our portfolio,” says Piet Roskam, sales manager at Piet Brouwer. “Royal Huisman has been building the best and most beautiful yachts for over a century. Our engineers feel very much at home in such an environment.”
