HAARLEM – Dutch superyacht maker Feadship has launched a unit that will implement the company’s new customer support strategy built around 3 pillars: Feadship Rebuild (major refits in the Netherlands), the Feadship Services Network (a partnership with 4 yards in the Med and the US) and the Feadship Authentication Certificate (a seal of approval for new builds and existing Feadships).
Feadship Refit & Services will protect the pedigree of the Feadship fleet and meet client demand for Feadship expertise. The refit, repair, service and after-sales activities have traditionally been handled by Feadship’s 3 Dutch yards and the refit, design and engineering operations run by Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects.
Feadship Refit & Services will handle these activities, plus the ones stemming from the 4th Feadship yard that opens in the Port of Amsterdam next May.
“The setting up of this new company reflects our commitment to all Feadship owners who wish to safeguard their yacht’s Feadship brand status,” says Pier Posthuma de Boer, director of Feadship Refit & Services. “We are offering a full suite of services that guarantee a Feadship’s essence is maintained throughout her life.”
The new Feadship Services Network covers Feadship-approved maintenance, repair and warranty work done at foreign yards. From now, that becomes a “more structural arrangement” with 4 tards: Amico & Co (Italy), Monaco Marine (France), MB92 (Spain) and Rybovich (USA).
