ROELOFARENDSVEEN, December 2017 ~ In Latin, vēnor means to pursue. You need to know that to understand Venandi Luxury Tenders, a new yachtbuilder in hot pursuit of perfection of high-end tenders which it will market 4 models, including a pure custom one.
They come from the boards of the studio of Dutch designer Guido de Groot which has shaped projects ranging from sailing yachts to fast motor cruisers to displacement yachts.
Venandi Luxury Tenders has already built the 900 (photo). The series also includes a 650, a 1300 and a custom tender, all made in the Netherlands. “From assembly to carpentry and from spraying to welding, we like to keep it all in-house,” says the company. “So, we can monitor the quality of our tenders throughout the building process.” The company promises tenders “of the highest quality.”
Guido de Groot’s hand is in evidence everywhere: a plumb bow, chrome detailing, high-gloss stainless steel and a floating bimini. The tenders are versatile. They can serve as day boats or superyacht tenders. Venandis are built on aluminum frames which makes them lightweight. A custom version will have the owner’s choice of engines types, jet drives, sterndrives or conventional drives. Venandi will assist in the search of a designer, naval architect and engineer.
