AMSTERDAM – Vetus, the veteran Dutch developer, maker and marketeer of marine engines, generators and technical gear for recreational craft and small commercial craft has a rich lineup of products for the 2019 METSTRADE Show (Nov. 19-21).
It ranges from thrusters to ventilation hatches, from water locks and strainers to portlights to a re-designed roller blind/fly screen.
Topping the lineup are Vetus’ latest BOW PRO Boosted Thrusters that have the features of the BOW PRO series, plus a 3rd connection on the motor. It feeds current to an internal charger, boosting the voltage from 12V to 24V. This allows a 12V charging source to charge a 24V battery bank.
VETUS will also show its:
— kit to convert a BOW PRO to a STERN PRO thruster. Available in tunnel diameters from 125mm to 400mm. It is easily installed as the thruster motor and electric components fit internally to the transom while the tunnel and propeller are installed externally.
— new BOW18024D bow thruster that provides 180 kgf on a 24V power supply. It has new features such as a temperature sensor and a low-noise 6-blade prop.
— new FTR330..M family of heavy-duty water strainers for fast semi and full planing boats. Made from NAVIDURIN, they come with 19, 25, 32 or 38mm hose connections.
— 15-liter NLP3..15L series of waterlocks. Much quieter than traditional locks and a 3-chamber design. The inlet chamber rotates 360° to fit in tight places.
— new, ultra-slim PL Series of portlights (panel thickness of 2-20mm), the PPL2 ergonomic, hinged window and portlight knobs.
— latest addition to Vetus’ line of flush hatches: the FGHF Series of straight flush hatches.
— HMB 2.0 series of roller blind-and-fly screens. A sleek new design maximizes vision. Altered hooks for durability, a stronger and easy-to-reach adjustable spring and a redesigned guiding system.
