SCHIEDAM _ VETUS has significantly updated the range of its gauges, making them more accurate and visible. At the same time, says the company, have their bezels been redesigned resulting in higher quality.
The Vetus tachometer can be calibrated individually. Dials are translucent and are illuminated by dimmable LEDs from below which renders the best possible readability. There is a choice between yellow or red illumination.
The gauges are dual voltage (12V/24V, except for the Volt meters) and double-glazed to minimize condensation. They come with 2 different bezels: solid black and premium chrome. All gauges _ except the tachometer _ have a diameter of 63 mm (on a cut-out of 52 mm).
The tachometer and the rudder angle indicator have a 114mm diameter (on a cut-out 100mm).
These standardized dimensions mean existing Vetus gauges can be easily replaced with others from the company. All gauges are backwards-compatible, only the tachometer requires a plug adapter (also available).
For more than 50 years, VETUS has developed, made and marketed marine engines, generators and technical equipment for recreational craft and small commercial vessels. Today it markets 4,000 technical items, many designed by in-house engineers. Vetus offers a 3-year warranty for equipment and a 5-year warranty for engines. Its service network spans the globe.
